In Camp 1 prior to the summer of 2017 we upgraded the kitchen facilities with extended outdoor cooking and BBQ area which was well utilised by happy campers.  We are currently expanding the dining and verandah area at Camp 2 and with increased numbers of campers coming to stay at Bethany Park this will now provide a better indoor/outdoor flow.

For the fourth year running we have camp 1 and 2 closed for Labour weekend (20-23 October) for the Unite Youth Event where approx. 350 young people from the top of the south and as far away as Wellington are gathering for an awesome time of fun and friendship.
