Overview

Set in a mixture of surrounding forest and native bush, The Camp is positioned off the beaten track up a beautiful walk along the inlet to the beach.

This area is the original site of Bethany Camp, and is nestled into the surrounding hillside, creating a cosy and secluded feel.

All the service buildings are positioned around the edge of a large recreation area, which lends itself to team games, sports or simply a space to hang out and be together.

Camp Facilities

The Camp has a full range of facilities and amenities, tailored to meet the needs of both small and large groups.

 

Main Conference Hall

Capable of seating 150+ people

The Main Conference Hall is equipped with a full commercial kitchen and servery, and is available for larger groups. The hall itself can double as both a dining room and a meeting room. Full service and self-service options are available for large groups. The hall also has a sunken lounge with a fireplace – ideal for small group work.

 Capable of seating 50+ people

The Meeting Hall is geared for our smaller groups, with a fully equipped self-catering kitchen and a dining room which can double as a meeting room or games room. It also includes freeview TV facilities.

 

 

Amenities Blocks

Ablution Block

The toilet and shower blocks in  Camp 1  are now fully refurbished and looking fantastic. We have separate male and female toilet and shower facilities provided for our Camp guests.

 

 

Accommodation

Bethany Camp has a range of accommodation facilities, enabling us to cater for groups of any size.

Strawbridge Lodge is a bunkhouse with 4 bunkrooms, each of which has ensuite facilities. There is space for an extra mattress or portacot in each bunkroom. Guests must supply their own bedding including pillow.  Each bunkroom sleeps up to to 8 people.

Please BYO cooking utensils for use in the communal kitchen.

Linen (Bedding) can be hired if required.

The Camp Bunkhouse has 5 cosy cabins.  Cabins 1 & 2  are split into two rooms, with single bunks. Cabin 3 sleeps 7 in one room with a double bed on the bottom and single on top and 2x single bunks.  Cabin 4 sleeps 8  with two rooms  made up of 1 bunk with double on bottom and single on top.   Cabin 5 sleeps 8 with 4 sets of single bunks.  There is also room in each for an extra mattress or portacot if required. Guests must supply their own bedding including pillows.  The cabins sleep between 7 and 8 people each

Single cottage

Single Cottage

The Single Cottage has twin beds.  It is centrally located to the camp, close to the Camp Bunkhouse and ablution block.  Guests must supply their own bedding including pillows.

Please BYO cooking utensils for use in the communal kitchen. 

Linen (Bedding) can be hired if required.

Sleeps 2 people.

Double cottage

Double Cottage

The Double Cottage is an ideal option for Leaders’ accommodation. It is centrally located to the camp, close to the Camp Bunkhouse and ablution facilities. It has a queen bed, and is one room with small kitchenette including microwave, electric jug and toaster. There is also room for an extra mattress or portacot. Guests must supply their own bedding including pillow.

Linen (Bedding) can be hired if required.

Sleeps 2 people.

We’re sure you’ll find something to suit your group here, but we can also accommodate groups over at our Holiday Park.

The perfect cure for a rainy day!

If your group has the use of the Main Hall during your stay, you will have access to a number of indoor games, including table tennis, foosball and fourball.

These are a great diversions when everyone needs a bit of downtime – and some healthy competition!

 Camp guests also have use of the children’s playground and the BMX track over at the Holiday Park.
