Park Features and Amenities
Kitchens
The Camp (Camp One) and Holiday Park (Camp Two) have large kitchens with ample fridge and freezer space, hotplates and gas hobs, toasters, microwaves, ovens and on tap boiling water. Campers must supply their own utensils and cooking equipment. We provide a separate space for charging your phones and devices whilst you cook or eat.
Large outdoor BBQ and covered dining area
Both the Camp and Holiday Park have excellent outdoor eating and cooking facilities which include free gas BBQ’s, gas hobs and ample picnic tables.
Lounge and dining areas
Adjoining the kitchen is a lounge where you are welcome to relax and meet with other guests. There is a small library of books which you can borrow or contribute to. There are dining tables and chairs with a desk for writing and reading. We have a new addition – an area set aside for children to sit, play, read and be together.
Shower and toilet facilities
We have two separate shower and toilet blocks in both the Camp and Holiday Park. Showers are FREE for the initial four minutes of hot water in the main shower blocks.
Laundry - washing machines, dryers and washing lines
We have washing machines and dryers available for campers to use. We do have washing lines, however you will need your own pegs, for some reason ours have legs and keep walking! Washing machines cost $3.00 per cycle, this includes the free wash liquid, each cycle is approximately 45 minutes. Dryers are $2.00 per cycle for 45 minutes.
Baby bathroom
Located in the Holiday Park ablution block, is a separate room with a small bath and changing table for babies. Access code available at the Office.
Dump stations
There are three dump stations throughout the Park with easy access for large and small motorhomes, buses and caravans.
Drinking water
All water from taps (except Dump station taps) is treated and suitable for drinking.
Fish cleaning area
We have a bench and sink set aside for fish cleaning in Camp One. On Camp Two, in the Holiday Park, we have a full sink and water tap in the Boat Parking area for fish cleaning. All fish scraps must be wrapped before putting into skip please.
Recycling
We have facilities for recycling bottles. There is a full recycling container 1km down the road at the Kaiteriteri Beach Reserve area. We have skips in both Camps for general rubbish.
Storage – caravans, boats and vehicles
We have plenty of storage area which is available for lease or rent, except during the three weeks from 25th December. For guests staying in the Park, storage for boats, trailers and cars is free. Storage fees are $5.00/day for first 21 days and $1.50/day thereafter. To receive these rates the storage does not need to be consecutive days.

Wifi is FREE! Check at the office for the password.
Pets welcome – After Waitangi weekend to 15th December
We welcome you and your furry friends after Waitangi weekend through until 15th December. The main rules are picking up all droppings and dogs on a leash at all times.
Conference and small meeting rooms
In Camp One we have our Main Hall available for hire, it seats up to 150 people and the Small Hall and catering kitchen which seats up to 50 people. In Camp Two, we have a new office block in which we have a small conference room and catering kitchen for up to 20 people.
