LABOUR WEEKEND 19-22 OCTOBER 2018

Camp 1 and Camp 2 will be closed again this year for the United Youth camp which is an annual event at Bethany Park.  We have young people coming from as far away as Auckland and Christchurch to meet together for an inspiring weekend.  If you are wanting to come and stay you are most welcome from 2pm Monday 22 Oct.

Park Talk – April 2018

After five months of summer we are finally breathing a sigh of relief as the international travellers stop coming and Easter saw the end of our local families coming in. Cyclone Gita created havoc on the Takaka Hill so we had the overflow and saw Bethany Park hit record numbers this year. We are now welcoming our ‘Winter-Over’ community. Camp Upgrade

In Camp 1 prior to the summer of 2017 we upgraded the kitchen facilities with extended outdoor cooking and BBQ area which was well utilised by happy campers.  We are currently expanding the dining and verandah area at Camp 2 and with increased numbers of campers coming to stay at Bethany Park this will now provide a better indoor/outdoor flow.

Labour Weekend

For the fourth year running we have camp 1 and 2 closed for Labour weekend (20-23 October) for the Unite Youth Event where approx. 350 young people from the top of the south and as far away as Wellington are gathering for an awesome time of fun and friendship. Celebrating 50 years of Christian ministry from Bethany Park Christian Camp.  The Bethany Park Trust Board invites you, your family and friends to celebrate with us on Saturday 12 November 2016 .  We’re having an open day for viewing the buildings and grounds.  A commemorative plaque will be unveiled @ 2.30pm with afternoon tea served from 3.00 -4.30pm.
